Road accident kills 4 persons in Katigorah

SILCHAR: In a fatal head-on collision between a speeding truck and an auto rickshaw four persons died in Katigorah. The tragic accident occurred at Saturday night on NH 6 at Tikpara in Katigorah. The truck managed to escape from the site.

The four deceased were identified as Rajan Das, Yasin Ali, Bilal Ahmed and Salim Uddin. Another five persons were seriously injured and now were admitted in Silchar Medical College Hospital. Eyewitness said, there were nine passengers in the ill fated auto rickshaw and due to the impact of the collision most of them were thrown out of it.
